The International Tourism Trade Fair, FITUR, closed its 36th edition having exceeded all expectations. The growth of professional visitors from the first three days has been a 5 %, bringing the number of attendees over the 120,000 professionals from more than 100 countries.
Ibexestudio presented new tools to boost online business for companies in the tourism sector. Ibextravelpack has been one of the most requested products by its ease of implementation and a new market that opens to management companies and agencies receptive of activities in the online market. It has also presented the new version of Ibexrentacar, the specialized cloud software for car rental companies, with new features such as the management systems for affiliates or a mobile office.
Agencies and tour operators have expressed their interest in the system of tourism promotion IbexCitycard, a tool that allows companies, organizations and institutions to promote local tourism through smart cards and promote their establishments and companies associated with them.
New projects were presented during the course of the fair as Ibexestudio TUVI, a new tool to boost publicity through digital signage, interactive advertising. The digital display is today the outdoor advertising format preferred by the Spaniards (44%), ahead of advertising signs on buses or shelters (38%) or the banner at a building (25%). In addition, 82% of Spaniards consider that the digital signage enhances brand image.
